New Delhi: Class 10 CBSE Result 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has confirmed that a circular circulated on May 9 informing that Class 10 and 12 results would be announced on May 11 is fake. The prank had already gone popular on social media, causing students and parents to become concerned.

The fake announcement stated that the CBSE was hosting its results online with technological assistance from the National Informatics Centre, and that they could be accessed via various educational websites.

The CBSE denied the phoney warning in an official tweet on May 10. The CBSE has stated that the results dates will be confirmed soon. Students who took the exams will receive the official notice on the CBSE website, www.cbse.gov.in.

The letter further noted that the CBSE would make academic records available digitally via its repository, Parinam Manjusha, which was integrated with the DigiLocker. It went on to say that students will need to check in to get their results using their CBSE-registered mobile number, as well as input the security pin and the OTP. It further claimed that pupils have received the DigiLocker information via SMS on their CBSE-registered mobile number.
