Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was allegedly attacked during a weekly ‘Jan Sunwai’ public grievance programme held at her official residence in Civil Lines on Thursday morning, the BJP said in a statement. According to party leaders, the incident occurred when a man, believed to be around 35 years old, approached the Chief Minister during the hearing, handed over a set of documents, and suddenly became violent.
BJP’s Delhi unit president Virendra Sachdeva strongly condemned the incident, calling it an unacceptable act of aggression against the elected leader.
