Padmapur bypoll on December 5, Dhamnagar bypoll voting counting tomorrow
Bhubaneswar: Dhamnagar bypoll Result: The Election Commission on Saturday announced the by-poll schedule for five Assembly constituencies in Odisha, Rajasthan, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The Election Commission of India today, announced the date of polling for the Padmapur bypoll election.
According to the announcement of the Election Commission, candidates can submit their nomination papers by November 17th. Similarly, the candidates will be verified on November 18. Nominations will be withdrawn on November 21. Voting will be held on December 5 and counting will take place on December 8. Notification for this will be published on November 10. The election process will be completed by December 10.
Notably, This assembly seat fell vacant after the death of Padmapur MLA Vijay Ranjan Singh Bariha.
Dhamnagar by-election results tomorrow
Now less than 12 hours left for the beginning of counting of votes for the Dhamnagar bypoll assembly election. The vote counting for the Dhamnagar assembly polls will be held tomorrow, Sunday. It is informed that counting will start at sanskruti Bhavan from 8 am. There will be 18 rounds in 14 tables for 252 booths. All the preparations have reached the final stage by the district administration. Security has been tightened.
According to the information, the counting of Dhamnagar block will start from Asurali zone and the last round of counting will be done in Tihidi block. According to the report of the district election officer, 1 lakh 64 thousand 465 voters out of a total of 2 lakh 38 thousand voters have polled. Among them, there are 79 thousand 11 male and 85 thousand 452 female voters. 2 third gender also voted.
Notably, After the death of BJP MLA Bishnu Charan Sethi, a byelection was held in Dhamanagar (Odisha Election 2022). The vote was held here on November 3.
