“Har Ghar Tiranga” : How to participate in the Modi government’s patriotic initiative

Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav: The Ministry of Culture has launched the “HarGharTiranga” programme to commemorate Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. From August 13 to August 15, the government has invited people to proudly fly the Tricolor at home.

The purpose of the programme is to increase people’s sense of patriotism and their connection to the Tricolor.

On Friday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited citizens to support the “Har Ghar Tiranga” initiative by raising or flying the flag in their residences between August 13 and August 15.

“This year, when we are marking Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, let us strengthen the Har Ghar Tiranga Movement. Hoist the Tricolour or display it in your homes between 13th and 15th August. This movement will deepen our connection with the national flag,” the Prime Minister tweeted. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also appealed to people to join the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement.

How to join ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign

Step2: Set your Profile Photo

Step3: Enter the name and mobile number. You may also continue with your Google account.

Step4: Allow your location access to harghartiranga.com

Step5: Pin a Flag in your location. Citizens get featured in the website by pinning a flag in Hotspot Location. A total of 1,36,643 flags have been pinned so far.
