Chandipur: India on Thursday successfully conducted the test launch of the Agni-4 medium-range ballistic missile from the Integrated Test Range (ITR) at Chandipur in Odisha, marking another significant milestone in the country’s strategic defence programme.
The Defence Ministry said the missile successfully met all mission objectives during the test.
Agni-4 Missile Test Conducted Under Strategic Forces Command
According to the Defence Ministry, the test launch was carried out under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command (SFC).
The ministry stated that the launch successfully validated all operational and technical parameters of the Agni-4 missile, reaffirming its reliability and operational readiness.

The Defence Ministry said the successful test further strengthens India’s strategic deterrence capabilities.
