Indian Women’s Cricket Team Storms Into World Cup Final: Kareena Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Rishab Shetty Lead Celebrity Cheers

In a historic moment for Indian cricket, the Indian Women’s Cricket Team defeated Australia in the semi-final to book their spot in the Women’s World Cup 2025 Final. The nation erupted in joy as several Bollywood stars took to social media to applaud the team’s incredible performance.

Kareena Kapoor expressed her excitement on X, writing, “And like I said GIRLS can do it all. With grit and determination… Well done Team India… on the finals my girls.”

Suniel Shetty lauded the team’s fearless spirit, saying, “339 … Against Australia!!! That was a huge target to chase. But the confidence was even greater. Jemimah’s unbeaten century and India’s bold chase – pure magic! Team India is heading to the finals, fueled by passion and belief.”

Varun Dhawan also joined in by sharing a photo of Jemimah Rodrigues on his Instagram story, calling her “my hero.”

‘Kantara’ star Rishab Shetty posted on X, “What a moment for India!” while actor Vikrant Massey wrote, “One step closer!!! Well played,” and later added, “Thank you @jemimahrodrigues, one of the greatest batting displays in the history of cricket.”

India will now face South Africa in the grand finale on Sunday, November 2, in Navi Mumbai, as both teams eye their maiden World Cup title. This marks India’s third appearance in a Women’s World Cup final, after their memorable runs in 2005 and 2017.
