What is Jio Welcome Offer for 5G?


Welcome offer is a trial-based program for Jio true owners to get their first hint of 5G for free. In order to avail this offer, users need to register and then receive an invite from Jio’s end to be eligible for the offer program. Firstly, the offer is available only in pilot cities. Jio official claims to offer 5G services to every district of India by December 2023.

How to get Jio 5G Offer?


To get the Jio 5G offer, you to be in the city where Jio 5G services are available. With own a 5G-capable device with an active base plan of Rs 239 and above. If you fulfilled these criteria, Jio will send you the invite for the Welcome Offer.

Steps to get Welcome Offer

– Open ‘MyJio app on your jio sim enabled phone

-Search for the ‘Jio Welcome Offer’ banner on the top portion of the app. If no such option is present it means the invite is yet to roll out for your mobile number.

-Next, click on the ‘I am interested’ button

-On the screen tap on ‘Done’ to finish the process and enjoy offer

Jio 5G plans


Jio has not started any 5G plans. As for the Welcome Offer, users will be able to enjoy unlimited internet uses at no extra cost.

All the existing Jio 4G SIMs are compatible and will work Jio 5G. The user just needs to enable the 5G option in the phone’s network settings.
