The Monsoon Session of the Indian Parliament is scheduled to commence on 21st July 2025. The session is expected to witness key legislative discussions, debates on national issues, and the introduction of important bills.
Government and opposition parties are likely to engage in intense deliberations on a range of matters, including economic policy, social welfare programs, and national security. The session will also provide an opportunity for ministers to present updates on various government initiatives.
This will be the first Parliament Session after the Operation Sindoor which was launched by India after the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were killed. In its retaliatory action, the Indian Armed Forces had hit terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and killed over 100 terrorists. The Goverment had also held two all-party meetings attended by leaders of different political parties after the Pahalgam terror attack.
Further details regarding the duration of the session and the list of proposed bills will be announced closer to the date by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs.
