13th Pension Adalat Conducted at Vigyan Bhawan

The 13th Pension Adalat is being conducted by the Department of Pension and Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) under the chairmanship of Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. This major initiative focuses on addressing long-pending grievances related to family pensions of central government employees.

The central theme of this year’s Pension Adalat is ‘Family Pension’, highlighting the government’s emphasis on safeguarding the financial rights of families of deceased government employees and pensioners. A total of 417 grievances related to family pensions have been taken up for resolution.

Involvement of 17 Ministries and Departments

The grievances pertain to 17 Ministries and Departments, including the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare, and the Department of Financial Services. Senior officials from all relevant departments and agencies are participating to provide swift, on-the-spot redressal.

Government’s Commitment to Pensioners’ Dignity and Welfare

According to the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, the Pension Adalat demonstrates the government’s commitment to ensuring faster grievance resolution, while also enhancing the dignity and financial security of family pensioners. The initiative continues to bridge the gap between beneficiaries and the government through a transparent and responsive mechanism.
