Bhubaneswar: Amid the widespread disruption caused by the 12-hour Odisha Bandh called by the Congress and seven other opposition parties, the Twin City Commissionerate Police has stepped in to assist the public by launching a dedicated helpline number: 0674-2543541. This helpline is available for commuters in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack struggling with transportation issues during the bandh.
The statewide shutdown has severely affected daily life with road blockades, rail roko protests, and demonstrations reported across key locations. Commuters have faced difficulties due to halted public transport and restricted vehicle movement.
In view of the situation, the Commissionerate Police urged residents of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack to use the helpline number to contact the police control room for assistance and movement-related queries during the bandh period.
