OSSSC Cancels and Reschedules Preliminary Exam for RI, ICDS Supervisor, ARI, Amin & SFS Posts
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced the cancellation of the Preliminary Examination for the posts of Revenue Inspector (RI), ICDS Supervisor, Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), Amin, and Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS) under the Combined Recruitment Examination-2023 (IV).
The move follows the orders of the Hon’ble Orissa High Court in W.P.(C) No. 20528 of 2025. The earlier preliminary exams, held from September 20 to October 8, 2024, and the results published on April 23, 2025, have been declared void.
OSSSC: Fresh Exam in October–November 2025
The recruitment process will restart from the preliminary examination stage. All candidates who had applied online under Advertisement No. 938(C)/OSSSC dated December 29, 2023 will be eligible to appear.
OSSSC RI Exam Date
The rescheduled examination will be conducted in Computer-Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE) mode across all districts of Odisha between October and November 2025.

OSSSC RI, ARI, AMIN Vacancy 2025
Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has announced 2895 vacancies for Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), AMIN, Revenue Inspector (RI), Supervisor, and Statistical Field Surveyor posts. OSSSC Exam Pattern 2025
The first two stages of OSSSC Recruitment 2025 are Objective Type Test which can be conducted in OMR/CBRT mode. The OSSSC Prelims exam is a screening test and the marks scored will not be counted in preparing the final merit list. The selection will be done on the basis of marks scored in OSSSC Mains Exam 2025.

OSSSC Practical Skill Test
This is the last stage of Combined Recruitment Examination and is just qualifying in nature. The minimum marks to be scored in Practical Skill Test in Basic Computer Skills is 40%. This test is of 30 minutes for 50 marks.
