PM Modi to Lead Independence Day 2025 Celebrations at Red Fort with ‘Naya Bharat’ Theme

Published on

The Nation will mark Independence Day 2025 celebrations tomorrow with Prime Minister Narendra Modi unfurling the National Flag and addressing the nation from the iconic Red Fort in Delhi. This year’s theme, Naya Bharat, reflects India’s vision of becoming a prosperous, secure, and bold nation by 2047, in line with the Government’s Viksit Bharat roadmap.

‘Naya Bharat’ Theme and Operation Sindoor to be Highlighted

The celebrations will highlight the success of Operation Sindoor as a symbol of national pride. Invitation cards feature the Operation Sindoor logo and a watermark of the Chenab Bridge. Around 5,000 special guests from diverse fields, including the Indian contingent of Special Olympics 2025, international sports winners, and Khelo India Para Games gold medalists, will attend the grand event at the Red Fort.

For the first time, Independence Day evening will witness over 140 nationwide band performances by the Army, Navy, Air Force, Indian Coast Guard, NCC, CRPF, ITBP, CISF, SSB, BSF, IDS, RPF, and Assam Rifles. These performances aim to boost patriotic fervor and celebrate the spirit of a united India.
