The agenda includes ten major bills, such as the Atomic Energy Bill 2025 and the Insurance Laws (Amendment) Bill 2025, both seen as crucial for pushing policy modernisation in their respective sectors.

Even before the session fully begins, the Opposition is preparing to challenge the government on several fronts. The most urgent demand concerns a detailed debate on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. Opposition leaders have warned that they may be forced to obstruct proceedings if this issue is not taken up immediately.

Apart from electoral concerns, several other matters are expected to shape the narrative in Parliament. The Opposition is set to raise questions about the internal security environment, especially after the November 10 Red Fort terror blast in Delhi.
