NEW DELHI: Pralhad Joshi Education Minister transition began on Sunday as Union Minister Pralhad Joshi officially assumed charge of the Ministry of Education at Kartavya Bhavan. Soon after taking over the portfolio, he convened a high-level meeting with senior ministry officials to review the progress of flagship schemes and assess the implementation of ongoing programmes across the education sector.

Pralhad Joshi Education Minister Begins Work with Policy Review

Following the formal assumption of office, Joshi chaired a comprehensive review meeting to evaluate the implementation of major schemes under the Ministry of Education. Discussions focused on monitoring the progress of existing programmes and identifying priorities for effective execution.

Joshi continues to hold charge of the Ministries of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, and New and Renewable Energy, in addition to his new responsibilities in the education sector.

Those present included Dr. Vineet Joshi, Secretary of the Department of Higher Education, T. K. Anil Kumar, Secretary of the Department of School Education and Literacy, as well as other senior officers who briefed the minister on ongoing projects and policy implementation.
