Producer-Actor Dheeraj Kumar Passes Away At 79
Dheeraj Kumar Death:Â At the age of 79, veteran producer and actor Dheeraj Kumar passed away in Mumbai. Prior to his death, Kumar, who had been suffering from pneumonia, was critically ill when he was brought to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital and was on ventilator support.
His family and the production team had previously stated in a statement that “Dheeraj Kumar is receiving treatment and is closely monitored by doctors.” In addition to asking everyone to respect his privacy during this difficult period, the family is praying for a quick recovery.

In the 1970s and 1980s, Dheeraj Kumar established himself in Hindi cinema by appearing in a number of well-known productions. He played important supporting parts in films such as Roti Kapda Aur Makaan (1974), in which he costarred with Zeenat Aman and Manoj Kumar. He has acted in films including Swami, Kranti, and Heera Panna. Throughout his career, he collaborated with many of the top names in the industry and acted in lead parts in Punjabi films in addition to Hindi ones.
