The launch took place on the occasion of the Foundation Day of the Centre for Railway Information System (CRIS) in New Delhi.
One App, All Services: A Seamless Railway Experience
The RailOne app is now available for download on both Android Play Store and iOS App Store. It integrates multiple railway services under one roof, allowing passengers to:
- Book unreserved train tickets
- Check PNR status
- Get real-time train enquiries
- Plan their journey
- Access Rail Madad services for grievance redressal
- Order food on train
Key Features of RailOne App
- Single Sign-On: Passengers no longer need to remember multiple passwords. Users can log in using their existing credentials from RailConnect or UTSonMobile apps.
- Unified User Experience: Multiple services have been interconnected for a seamless and efficient user interface.
- Inclusive Platform: Designed for both reserved and unreserved ticketing, enhancing accessibility across different passenger needs.
Addressing railway officials at the event, Minister Vaishnaw stressed the need for complete focus on passenger safety, stating that technology must serve not just convenience but also the security and well-being of travelers.
The RailOne app is seen as a step forward in Indian Railways’ broader vision of a digitally connected, passenger-centric rail ecosystem. With the integration of core services into one platform, the app is expected to significantly enhance user experience, efficiency, and response time for passenger needs.
