Ram Mandir Inauguration: The Ram Mandir inauguration is coming up quickly and preparations for it are underway. In the meantime, on Thursday, the Modi government made an important statement.

According to Union Minister of State Jitendra Singh, offices will be closed for half a day on January 22, the day of Ram Lalla’s consecration. He said that this decision has been taken in view of the overwhelming public sentiments.

The government said in its order, ‘Ramlala Pran Pratishtha in Ayodhya is to be celebrated all over India on 22 January 2024. This decision has been taken so that employees can also participate in the festival. All central government offices, central institutions and central industrial establishments across India are going to remain closed for half a day till 2:30 pm on 22 January 2024.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has released a commemorative postage stamp on Ram temple in Ayodhya and a booklet of postage stamps issued on Lord Ram across the world. PM Modi said that the greatness of Ram, Sita and Ramayana is beyond the boundaries of time, society, caste, religion and region. It connects everyone.

On the day of the consecration ceremony, schools nationwide and in some states have announced a holiday. Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Haryana and Chhattisgarh have declared a public holiday for the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla.
