Mumbai: Actor Randeep Rai, who didn’t get a chance to join the season 1 of ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain’, is happy to join the second season and play the lead role of Raghav in the show.
I always wanted to be an actor and I had given auditions for ‘Bade Acche Lagte Hain Season 1’ for the role of Pihu’s love interest but, unfortunately, that didn’t work out. Still, I believe in the mysterious miracles of life and I was brought in to play the love interest of one of the daughters of Ram and Priya. Hard work pays off, here I am now playing a lead role in the second season of the show.”, he said.
The ‘Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai’ actor shares more about his character and how he managed to land a role in the show after a lot of efforts.
He said, “Raghav is a character who seems to always be bored by the situation, but inside him is a constant urge to prove himself and establish his worth, something that really resonates with me.” I believe it was my destiny to play.
The show took a 20-year leap, with lead actors Disha Parmar, who was seen as Priya, and Nakul Mehta, who essayed the role of Ram, leaving the show, but Ram and Priya’s children had grown up. How they shape their lives

Randeep Rai is an Indian actor and model. He was born on June 8, 1993, in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, India. He made his acting debut in 2014 with the TV show “O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya” and gained popularity with his role as Sameer Maheshwari in the TV show “Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai” which aired from 2017 to 2019. He has also appeared in a few music videos and advertisements. Randeep Rai is known for his charming looks and acting skills, and has a considerable fan following on social media platforms.
