‘Roti khao, warna meri goli to hai hi’: PM Modi’s Stern Warning to Pakistan

Published on

During a rally in Bhuj, Gujarat, on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi sent a strong message to Pakistan, stating that to eliminate terrorism, the people of Pakistan must take the initiative and choose peace. He warned that while India desires peace, it is fully prepared to respond to any threat. “To free Pakistan from the disease of terrorism, its people must step forward. Live peacefully and eat your bread, or my bullet is ready,” Modi said.

Marking 11 years in office on May 26, PM Modi used the occasion to highlight India’s rapid economic growth, noting that the country has overtaken Japan to become the world’s fourth-largest economy. He contrasted this progress with Pakistan’s situation, urging its citizens to reflect on where their nation stands.

“India promotes tourism, while Pakistan treats terrorism like tourism – a danger to the entire world,” he remarked. “What has terrorism achieved for you? Those who nurtured it have destroyed your future.”

He also inaugurated development projects worth over ₹50,000 crore and addressed national security concerns, referencing Pakistan’s inaction after the Pahalgam terror attack. “I waited for 15 days hoping Pakistan would act, but it seems terrorism is their bread and butter,” Modi said.

Referring to India’s recent military response, he stated, “On the night of May 9, when Pakistan targeted civilians, our military responded with double the strength and destroyed their air bases.”

Earlier, during a roadshow in Vadodara, the family of Colonel Sofiya Qureshi—one of the two women officers involved in briefing about India’s cross-border strikes during Operation Sindoor—joined the event in support of the Prime Minister. Modi described Operation Sindoor as a mission to protect humanity and eliminate terrorism.
