Russia’s mRNA Cancer Vaccine Enteromix Shows 100% Efficacy in Clinical Trials
In what scientists are calling a potential medical breakthrough, Russia’s mRNA-based cancer vaccine Enteromix has demonstrated 100% efficacy and safety in clinical trials. The vaccine, which targets and destroys cancer cells while shrinking large tumours, is now awaiting final approval from the Ministry of Health before being made available to the public, according to RT India.
Developed with technology similar to COVID-19 vaccines, Enteromix works by training the immune system to recognize and eliminate cancer cells. Remarkably, the vaccine is personalized for every patient, ensuring precise treatment.
Russia’s Enteromix Cancer Vaccine Shows 100% Success in Trials
Unlike chemotherapy or radiation, Enteromix did not cause any serious side effects, with patients reportedly tolerating the vaccine well. Earlier clinical trials involved 48 volunteers, overseen by Russia’s Ministry of Health’s National Medical Research Radiology Centre in collaboration with the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology (EIMB) of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS).
Enteromix Unveiled at St. Petersburg Economic Forum
The clinical trial was officially announced at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2025), held from June 18–21. Organized by the Roscongress agency under the Russian President’s office, the event highlighted Russia’s progress in biotechnology and advanced medical research.
How Enteromix Works Against Cancer
According to a MedPath report, Enteromix uses four harmless viruses to attack and destroy cancerous tumours, while simultaneously boosting the immune system to fight the disease. After years of testing, results have shown it can slow tumour growth and, in some cases, completely eradicate cancer cells.
Awaiting Final Approval Before Global Rollout
With trials successfully completed, the only step remaining is regulatory clearance from the Russian Ministry of Health. If approved, Enteromix could become the world’s first personalized mRNA cancer vaccine, offering new hope to millions of patients worldwide.
