Samsung Galaxy M36 5G Launched in India with 50MP Camera, 5000mAh Battery at ₹16499

Samsung has officially launched the Galaxy M36 5G in India, adding another feature-packed smartphone to its popular M series. The Galaxy M36 5G stands out as one of the first mid-range devices to integrate Google’s Circle to Search and Gemini Live AI features, enhancing both productivity and interactivity.

The device boasts a 7.7mm slim design with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ for added durability. It features a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Vision Booster technology, ensuring better visibility even under direct sunlight. Available colours include Velvet Black, Serene Green, and Orange Haze.

Camera and Features

Photography gets a significant boost with a 50MP triple camera setup with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Auto Night Mode for enhanced low-light photography. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording, while features like Photo Remaster, Object Eraser, and a 13MP selfie camera add to the visual experience.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the Exynos 1380 (5nm) chipset and supported by a vapor cooling system for smoother performance in gaming and multitasking. It ships with Samsung One UI 7, based on Android, and comes with a long-term support promise of six Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.

The 5000mAh battery supports 25W fast charging, ensuring full-day usage without hassle. The device also includes Samsung Knox Vault, Samsung Wallet Tap & Pay, and 5G connectivity.

The Galaxy M36 5G will be available from 12 July 2025 on Samsung.com, Amazon, and select retail outlets. Pricing (including ₹1,000 bank discount) is as follows:

  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: ₹20,999
