New Delhi: The Sansad Ratna Awards 2025 have been announced, honouring 17 Members of Parliament for their exceptional performance in the Lok Sabha. The list includes prominent names such as Supriya Sule (NCP-Sharadchandra Pawar), Ravi Kishan (BJP), Nishikant Dubey (BJP), and Arvind Sawant (Shiv Sena-Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray).

Special Jury Awards for Consistent Excellence

Four Members of Parliament received the Special Jury Award for their outstanding contributions to parliamentary democracy across three successive terms. The recipients are:

  • Bhartruhari Mahtab (BJP, Odisha)
  • N.K. Premachandran (RSP, Kerala)
  • Supriya Sule (NCP-SP, Maharashtra)
  • Shrirang Appa Barne (Shiv Sena, Maharashtra)

Additional Awardees Recognised for Legislative Contributions

Other MPs recognised include:

  • Smita Uday Wagh (BJP)
  • Naresh Mhaske (Shiv Sena)
  • Varsha Gaikwad (Congress)
  • Medha Kulkarni (BJP)

Parliamentary Committees Also Honoured

In the committee category, two key parliamentary standing committees were awarded:

  • Standing Committee on Finance, chaired by Bhartruhari Mahtab
  • Standing Committee on Agriculture, chaired by Dr. Charanjit Singh Channi (Congress)
    These committees were recognised for the quality of their reports and their role in legislative oversight and policy formulation.
