Bollywood’s beloved couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani have officially entered parenthood with the birth of their baby girl. This marks the couple’s first child together. Both Kiara and the baby are healthy, according to close sources.
Kiara was reportedly due in August, but the baby arrived earlier than expected. She delivered at HN Reliance Hospital in Mumbai’s Girgaon area.
Just last week, Sidharth and Kiara were spotted visiting a clinic in Mumbai, shielding themselves from paparazzi with an umbrella. They were accompanied by Sidharth’s mother Rimma Malhotra and Kiara’s parents, Genevieve and Jagdeep Advani.
The couple had announced their pregnancy on February 28, sharing an intimate Instagram post that read:
“The greatest gift of our lives coming soon” — paired with a photo of their hands holding a tiny pair of crocheted baby socks.
Since then, Sidharth and Kiara chose to maintain a low profile, staying largely out of the public eye.
Earlier this year, Kiara made her debut at the Met Gala, wearing a custom Gaurav Gupta ensemble. The designer paid tribute to her visible baby bump, making the occasion both stylish and emotional.
Sidharth and Kiara’s love story began on the sets of their 2021 film ‘Shershaah’, released on Amazon Prime Video. Despite ongoing rumors, the couple managed to keep their relationship private during filming.
They tied the knot on February 7, 2023, in a dreamy ceremony at Suryagarh Palace, Rajasthan. Kiara later revealed on Koffee With Karan Season 8 that Sidharth had proposed to her in Rome, quoting lines from Shershaah during the romantic moment.
“He said, ‘Dilli ka seedha saadha launda hoon’ with full Shershaah dialogues — and I burst out laughing,” Kiara recalled.
Now parents, Sidharth and Kiara mark four years together, and the arrival of their daughter ushers in what they’ve called the “greatest gift of their lives.”
