“State-Level Odisha Day”: To Celebrate At Satyabhamapur in Salepur, Cuttack

Bhubaneswar: Under the direction of Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, a state-level preparatory meeting was conducted at Lok Seva Bhavan’s conference hall in anticipation of the April 1 “State-Level Odisha Day” celebrations.

This year’s “State-Level Odisha Day” will be commemorated in style at Satyabhamapur in Salepur, Cuttack district, which is the birthplace of Utkal Gaurab Madhusudan Das, according to an official press release.

The capital city of Bhubaneswar, as well as New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai, and several revenue divisions, districts, and sub-divisional headquarters around the state, will all celebrate the day with great fervor. As the chief guest at Satyabhamapur, the chief minister will be present. Ministers, Revenue Commissioners, and District Collectors will be visitors at different sites.

Development Commissioner Anu Garg, as well as several departmental chief secretaries, commissioners, secretaries, directors, and high-ranking state administration officials, attended the meeting. The information and public relations department’s principal secretary, Sanjay Kumar Singh, gave specifics on the different events planned for Odisha Day.

“State-Level Odisha Day”

The state-level celebration at Satyabhamapur and the event at Jayadev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar will feature a special photo exhibition on the creation of a separate Utkal Province, as well as public meetings, felicitation ceremonies, and award distribution programs, in accordance with the decisions and discussions made during the meeting.

The Odia Language, Literature, and Culture Department presenting cultural events at both locations. The statues of notable Odisha personalities will get flower tributes on this occasion in Bhubaneswar and other places.

Odisha Review and Utkal Prasanga will be published in special editions. Both the ceremony at Jayadev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar and the state-level celebration in Satyabhamapur will be televised live.

Prominent figures’ statues will be cleaned and their environs enhanced across the city. The capital’s government buildings, businesses, and public sector initiatives are going to be illuminated.
