Vietnam’s To Lam Highlights Strong India-Vietnam Relations, Invites Indian Leaders for State Visit

General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, To Lam, hailed the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between India and Vietnam, expressing satisfaction over the steady progress in India-Vietnam relations across multiple sectors. He made these remarks during a meeting with Indian Ambassador Sandeep Arya in Hanoi.

India-Vietnam Relations Strengthen on 79th Independence Day Greetings

According to the Indian Embassy in Vietnam, To Lam extended warm wishes to the people of India on the occasion of the nation’s 79th Independence Day. He also conveyed greetings to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, extending an invitation for them to undertake a State Visit to Vietnam.

India-Vietnam Relations Boosted by Cooperation in Development and Technology

The Vietnamese leader commended India’s significant accomplishments in recent years, particularly in socio-economic development, advancements in science and technology, and its growing influence both regionally and globally. Ambassador Sandeep Arya, in return, shared greetings from Indian leaders, thanking To Lam for his unwavering support and cordial sentiments toward India and the India-Vietnam relations.

The Ambassador also voiced confidence that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam headed by To Lam, the country will meet its goal of becoming a developed nation by 2045.
