Odisha High Court Cancels ASO Main Exam Held on July 13, 2025; Fresh Test on December 7

Cuttack: The Odisha High Court has cancelled the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Main Written Examination conducted on July 13, 2025, citing serious concerns over the exam’s conduct by the engaged agency. The decision was taken to maintain transparency and fairness in the recruitment process.

OFFICIAL NOTIFICATION OUT (ACTIVE)

The Main Written Examination had been conducted for 7,113 candidates who qualified the Preliminary Exam held on May 4, 2025, under Advertisement No. 02/2024.

According to the official notification, the Main Examination will now be reconducted on December 7, 2025 (Sunday) for the same set of qualified candidates.

e-Admit Card Details

The e-Admit Cards for the fresh ASO Main Written Examination will be available for download from 10:00 AM on November 17, 2025, until 5:00 PM on December 5, 2025.

Candidates can download their admit cards by visiting the official website of the Odisha High Court at www.orissahighcourt.nic.in → Recruitment Corner → Examination Portal → Download e-Admit Card for Main Written Examination to the posts of Assistant Section Officer.

In case of any discrepancies or issues with the admit card, candidates are advised to contact the Recruitment Cell of the Court at 9437498780 before 5:00 PM on December 5, 2025.

The High Court’s decision underscores its commitment to ensuring a fair and transparent recruitment process for aspirants competing for the ASO posts.
