Bhubaneswar: Lastly winter foot in Odisha. Now night temperature dropped to below 20 degrees in 15 places of Odisha, said the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar.


The fresh tweet in the official Twitter handle of the Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar, In 15 cities, the night temperature is below 20 degrees celsius.

According to the tweet, Koraput district is the coldest place in Odisha with a minimum temperature of 14.2 degree Celsius being recorded.

In Daringbadi recorded a nighttime temperature of 16 degrees Celsius while Boudh, Sonepur and Phulbani recorded 17 degrees Celsius respectively.

Whereas Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded minimum temperatures of 21.1 and 20.6 degree Celsius respectively.

The weather will remain dry for the next 3 to 4 days. There will be no change in day and night temperature.

Notably, With likely setting in of northeasterly winds in the lower tropospheric levels over Bay of Bengal and South Peninsular India; the Northeast Monsoon rains are likely to commence over Southeast Peninsular India from around 29th October, 2022.
