Odisha Administration Steps Up Preparedness
The Odisha government has strengthened precautionary measures as southern districts prepare for another spell of heavy rain following the recent impact of Cyclone Arnab.
District administrations have been asked to remain alert and monitor vulnerable locations, particularly low-lying areas and landslide-prone zones.
The fresh spell of rainfall could increase the risk of waterlogging, local flooding and landslides in vulnerable areas.
Residents in the affected districts have been advised to follow official weather updates and instructions issued by local administrations.
