Rahul Gandhi in Bihar: Participates in ‘Palayan Roko, Naukri Do’ yatra

Published on

Rahul Gandhi, a Congress leader, took part in the ‘Palayan Roko, Naukri Do’ (stop migration, provide jobs) march in Begusarai on Monday, April 7, on his third trip to Bihar in 2025.

Kanhaiya Kumar, the national in-charge of NSUI, and other senior Congress party leaders joined him on his one-kilometer foot march.

Kanhaiya, who is from Begusarai and lost the Lok Sabha election there in 2019, is anticipated to fight for a seat in the next state assembly elections.

Gandhi was welcomed by a sizable contingent of Congress employees in the town of Begusarai, who were dressed in white T-shirts and holding party flags.

Rahul had just the day before called on the youth to join the ‘Palayan Roko, Naukri Do’ march in an attempt to topple the NDA government in the October–November assembly elections in Bihar.

Even though Rahul had a scheduled corner meeting in Begusarai, he chose to return to Patna for another engagement. He will address at the workers’ assembly at Sadaquat Ashram in the state capital after taking part in the “Samvidhan Suraksha Sammelan.”

Rahul Gandhi’s travel to Bihar was previously announced by Congress leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan as a way to fulfill his commitment to social justice and togetherness.

“People are happy. In order to fulfill his commitment to social justice and unity, Rahul Gandhi travels to the state on a regular basis, he claimed. The ‘unseeing’ and ‘unhearing’ NDA administration should be defeated in the polls, he added.

Early in the day, Gandhi arrived at Begusarai after traveling from Patna. Along with other senior party leaders, Rajesh Kumar greeted him at the Jay Prakash Narayan International Airport.
