PM Modi Hails First Freight Train to Kashmir Valley, Boosting Connectivity and Commerce

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed the arrival of the first freight train to Kashmir Valley, calling it a historic moment for the region’s connectivity and economic growth.

In a post on X, PM Modi responded to Union Minister for Railways, Communications and Electronics & IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, who announced the train’s arrival. The Prime Minister emphasised that this achievement will significantly strengthen both progress and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir.

“Great day for commerce and connectivity in Jammu and Kashmir! It will enhance both progress and prosperity,” PM Modi wrote.
