Budget Session 2023: The Budget Session of Parliament begins today with President Droupadi Murmu’s address to a joint sitting of both Houses

New Delhi: Parliament’s Budget Session begins today. The session will begin with President Droupadi Murmu’s address to the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha joint sitting in the Central Hall. On the first day of the session today, the Economic Survey will also be proposed in both Houses. Tomorrow, the Union Budget 2023-24 will be presented.

Budget Session 2023 Sittings & Days?

The budget session will be held in two parts and will last until April 6th, this year. It will be held in 27 sittings over the course of 66 days. The first part of the session will last until February 13th. There will be a break from February 14th to March 12th. During the recess, the departmental Parliamentary Standing Committees can examine the Demands for Grants and report on their Ministries and Departments. The second part will begin on March 13th and run until April 6th.

IRMS UPSC 2023: Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) to be Conducted UPSC

An all-party meeting was held yesterday at the Parliament House Complex in preparation for the session. Union Ministers Rajnath Singh, Pralhad Joshi, and Piyush Goyal, among others, attended the meeting, which was called by the government. To ensure the smooth operation of both Houses, the Government sought cooperation from all political parties. The meeting was attended by NCP Chief Sharad Pawar, TMC Sudip Bandyopadhyay, CPI (M) Elamaram Kareem, Shiv Sena (UBT) Priyanka Chaturvedi, RJD Manoj Jha, AAP Sanjay Singh, BRS MP K Keshava Rao, and BJD leader Sasmit Patra.

After the meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi told the media that the government is ready to debate Budget Session 2023 any issue in Parliament according to the rules and procedures.
