CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Assesses On-Ground Situation

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma visited Lakhimpur district, particularly Naoboicha, to interact with flood victims and oversee relief work. The flooding has worsened following the release of water from a dam in Arunachal Pradesh.

Infrastructure Damage and Rain Forecast

Floodwaters have caused extensive damage to embankments, roads, bridges, and public infrastructure. The Brahmaputra, along with its tributaries Dhansiri and Kopili, is flowing above the danger mark.
