Now, Google has announced that it has increased the storage limit per individual account free. Google has announced in a blog that in an attempt to support users to expand their businesses, communicate, and collaborate more effectively, Google is now increasing the current 15GB free storage to 1TB.
In a blog post, the tech company exposed that upgrading your account to 1TB of secure cloud storage is a completely automatic process. When Google rolls out the new upgrade, every Google user will automatically get the standard 15GB storage upgraded to 1TB. Users will be able to add up to 100 different formats to Google Drive, including CAD files, PDFs and various image formats.”

Notably, Presently, Google offers up to 15GB of free Drive storage. Google also assured users that the expanded repository now comes with built-in spam and ransomware defenses.
Now, You can store more than 100 file types in Drive, including PDFs, CAD files, and images, and you can easily collaborate on and edit Microsoft Office files without having to convert them, Google said on its blog.
Google is also working on adding more features like Premium Meet, e-signatures in Google Docs, meeting scheduling and flexible layouts in Gmail.
