Hockey World Cup 2023 Schedule Full fixtures played in Bhubaneswar and Rourkela

Bhubaneswar/Rourkela: After 2 days, the Hockey World Cup 2023 is being held in Odisha. Hockey World Cup 2023 opening ceremony will be held tomorrow at Barbarati Stadium, Cuttack.

Opening of the World Cup Hockey 2023 from 3 pm to 9:30 pm. A colorful program will be held on the occasion. Bollywood stars Disha Patani and Ranbir Singh perform at the Barabati Stadium event. Starting on January 13, 2023, 16 hockey teams from around the world will be seen in action in this tournament.

On this occasion, International Sand Sculptor Padmashree Sudarshan Patnaik has done Sand Trip a beautiful sand art display on hockey balls in the field. Similarly, The District Magistrate has informed all educational institutions in Cuttack city from tomorrow afternoon there will be a holiday.

The Health Department on Tuesday held a review meeting led by Health Minister Naba Das to take stock of the current Covid situation in Rourkela and Bhubaneswar. In the review meeting, the Health Minister informed that though corona testing is in progress, the positivity rate is less in the Odisha. Good news that no Covid19 cases have been detected in the last 10 days in Jharuguda and Sundargarh districts.

“There will be a first-aid center inside the hockey stadium to provide immediate treatment to the needy. Besides, mobile medical units and emergency ambulance service will be made available near the hockey stadiums”, Health Secretary Salini Pandit Informed.

A total of 20 hockey matches will be held at the Birsa Munda Hockey Stadium in Rourkela.
