IPL 2025, GT VS SRH: Sunrisers Hyderabad’s feared batting lineup has faltered after the team scored the second-highest IPL total in history in their opening match of the season. In their subsequent three games, they have failed to reach 200.

SRH 152/8 (20)

GT 153/3 (16.4)

Gujarat Titans won by 7 wkts

The highlight of GT’s 7-wicket thumping of SRH at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday was Mohammed Siraj. Siraj used the ball to breathe fire. After choosing to bowl, he helped GT limit SRH to 152 for 8 in 20 overs by taking four wickets (4 for 17). With two wickets each, R Sai Kishore (2 for 24) and Prasidh Krishna (2 for 25) also made an impression. With 31 runs, Nitish Reddy was the leading scorer for SRH. Siraj was the star of the innings, hitting in the opening over and not stopping.

In the match’s second innings, SRH again got off to a strong start with the ball. At one point, they had reduced GT to 16 for 2, but the chasing team won because to Washington Sundar’s incredible counterattack (49 off 29) and Shubman Gill’s brilliant knock (61 not out off 43).
