Kaanta Laga Fame Shefali Jariwala Dies of Heart Attack at 42

Published on

Popular model and actress Shefali Jariwala, famously known for her appearance in the 2002 music video “Kaanta Laga”, has passed away at the age of 42, leaving her fans and the entertainment industry in deep sorrow.

Reports indicate that Shefali experienced sudden chest pain late last night and alerted her husband, actor Parag Tyagi. She was rushed to a private hospital in Andheri, Mumbai, where doctors declared her brought dead, citing a heart attack as the cause.

Renowned for her fitness and active lifestyle, Shefali’s untimely death has sparked concern and disbelief, especially among fans who saw her as the epitome of health and vitality.

Shefali rose to stardom in the early 2000s with her bold appearance in the “Kaanta Laga” remix, which quickly became a youth sensation. Over the years, she appeared in multiple music videos and films and gained renewed popularity as a contestant on Bigg Boss Season 13. She also made several television appearances in recent years.

In her personal life, Shefali was previously married to music composer Harmeet Singh, with whom she parted ways in 2009. She later married actor Parag Tyagi in 2015, and the couple shared a strong and affectionate bond.

Her death has also reignited debates online about the link between sudden cardiac arrests and COVID-19 vaccinations, though no official cause beyond the heart attack has been confirmed.

Shefali Jariwala’s unexpected passing serves as a somber reminder of life’s unpredictability, even for the young and seemingly healthy.
