Bhubaneswar: Odisha Weather Today: February is coming to an end and the day temperature in Odisha is increasing rapidly. Daytime temperature is to cross 40 degree Celsius in the coming couple of days.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said due to lack of rains, the state has experienced a high temperature condition. As many as nine cities recorded temperatures of 37 degrees Celsius and above in the last 24 hours. A high of 38 degrees Celsius was recorded in Boudh, Nayagarh and Talcher. Yesterday, Sonpur became the third hottest city in the country.

The IMD also informed that visibility was impaired at many places in the morning hours due to fog cover caused by the high pressure condition. While visibility reduced to 50 meters at Dehnkanal, the reduction was nearly 90 meters at Kendrapraa, 100 meters at Bhubaneswar and 150 meters at Cuttack.

The weather office Bhubaneswar has issued a yellow warning of fog very likely to occur at a few places like Khurda, Cuttack, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Jajpur, Bhadrak and Balasore in Odisha tomorrow.
