Sushant Singh Rajput: CBI closes Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death Case

Published on

Sushant Singh Rajput: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has concluded Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, more than four years after the actor was discovered hanging in his Mumbai flat in unexplained circumstances. The CBI has ruled out any foul play in his death, which was suspected by the family.

The death of a 34-year-old actor sparked conspiracy theories, including the possibility that he was a victim of Bollywood’s purported culture of nepotism. According to the senior investigative officer, the agency discovered no evidence of foul play after conducting an exhaustive examination into the issue. He stated that as a result, a closure report was submitted in two linked cases before a special court in Mumbai.

The report effectively clears actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family members, who had been accused by Rajput’s family of forcing their son to suicide and embezzling the money he owned.

The court set April 8 for hearing the case along with additional orders.
