Judge Frank Caprio, widely admired as the kind-hearted jurist on the reality courtroom series Caught in Providence, has passed away at the age of 88. His death followed a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer and was confirmed through a statement released on his official Instagram account.

The statement read: “Beloved for his compassion, humility, and unwavering belief in the goodness of people, Judge Caprio touched the lives of millions through his work in the courtroom and beyond. His warmth, humor, and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew him.”

Just a day before his passing, Caprio had shared an emotional video message on Instagram, asking his followers to continue praying for him as he faced health setbacks related to his illness.

Known worldwide as the “Nicest Judge in the World,” Frank Caprio earned a reputation for blending justice with kindness. His courtroom moments, where he often dismissed fines for struggling families or encouraged individuals during hardships, became viral sensations. Judge Frank Caprio Dies at 88 After Cancer Battle

Born in Providence, Rhode Island, Caprio served as a municipal judge for decades before gaining national recognition.
