Public Sector Banks to Remain Open Today

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the continued operation of bank branches and offices today. ATM-linked branches and Currency Chests have also been permitted to remain fully operational.

Customers can therefore use regular banking services at participating public sector and Regional Rural Bank branches during the day.

The move is aimed at providing customers with an opportunity to complete important banking transactions before the proposed strike period begins.

ATM Charges to Be Waived During Bank Strike

Several public sector banks have also announced measures concerning ATM transactions during the three-day strike.

According to the information provided, these banks have decided to waive ATM transaction charges above the usual monthly free limit during the strike period.
