Odisha Agriculture Department Orders submit annual property statement on HRMS

Bhubaneswar: All officials of the Department of Agriculture in Odisha have been ordered to submit their Annual Property Statement on HRMS by the end of January 2023 or failing which their salary will be stopped.


In a letter to all officials, Agriculture Department Principal Secretary Aravind PadhI directed to do the same through online mode on the HRMS portal.
Each civil servant of this department must submit an asset declaration in the given format online on the HRMS portal by the end of January 2023, otherwise, their salaries for February 2023 and beyond will not be drawn until they submit the declaration. The directive is also applicable to all officers of the Indian Service including the Secretary.


The officials concerned dealing with Office Establishment will submit the list of defaulting officials to the concerned DDOs for appropriate action, he writes.
Submission of asset declaration is mandatory for all government officials as per the principles laid down in Odisha Government Offices (Amendment) Conduct Rules, 2021.


GA & PG Department has recently issued a notification vide letter No.2436 dt. 31.12.2022 requesting all officers to submit their Annual Asset Declaration (as on 1st January) for the year 2022 online through HRMS on or before 31.01.2023. The concerned officers dealing with Office Establishment will submit the list of defaulting officials to the DDOS concerned for appropriate action.
