Chaitra Navratri Festival: The Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board has announced considerable preparations to handle the enormous number of devotees expected during the eight-day Chaitra Navratri festival, which begins on March 30. Special arrangements have been made for devotee transportation, security, and comfort to provide a pleasant and spiritual experience.

Haryana Roadways will operate five gratis mini-buses to transport devotees between Shri Mansa Mata Singh Dwar and the Mela bus terminus, with convenient pick-up and drop-off locations. Additionally, shuttle bus services will be accessible from key areas such as Chandigarh Railway Station, ISBT-17, ISBT-43, Kalka, and Zirakpur to boost connectivity.

In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board secretary Sharda Prajapati declared that “Chabeel” (refreshing drink) arrangements will be prepared to provide relief from the predicted hot weather and ensure devotee comfort.

Security procedures have been greatly enhanced, with a large number of police officers and security guards stationed at access and departure points.

Thirteen police checkpoints, divided into four zones, will be installed. Help desks and notification centers will also be set up to help tourists.

Recognizing the needs of old, differently-abled, physically weak devotees, and pregnant women, the shrine board will provide specialized e-rickshaws and lifts on the temple grounds. Vulnerable devotees will receive free services, while others can use the elevator for a charge of ₹500.
