PM Modi Launches ₹33,700 Crore Development Projects in Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has started projects totaling ₹33,700 crore rupees. Speaking at a public forum in Bilaspur, Mr. Modi said that these measures will boost the state’s economy and generate thousands of new employment.

The projects are in line with his government’s larger mission, which includes housing, education, infrastructure development, and rural empowerment, the prime minister underlined.

According to Mr. Modi, the projects’ introduction demonstrates the Central government’s resolve to quicken Chhattisgarh’s development and establishes the state as a major recipient of federal development programs.

Three lakh new homes under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 130 PM-SHRI schools with smart classrooms and state-of-the-art labs, a 540-kilometer petroleum pipeline to improve regional energy security, and a vast network of rural roads to improve connectivity in Maoist-affected areas are among the projects the prime minister unveiled.

According to Mr. Modi, his administration is working to guarantee that all families in Chhattisgarh, particularly those living in tribal areas, have access to modern infrastructure, high-quality education, and improved employment possibilities.

These initiatives, according to the prime minister, are a part of a broader initiative to bring Chhattisgarh into line with the rest of India’s economy and lessen its historical reliance on mining and agriculture by establishing centers of industry and education.

Mr. Modi attacked the opposition, accusing the Congress of abandoning the young of Chhattisgarh via mismanagement, delayed development projects, and recruiting frauds.

He claimed that under Congress administration, government funds intended for the needy were misappropriated, corruption was pervasive, and recruitment exams were tainted by paper leaks.
