BJP President Manmohan Samal expressed his gratitude to the people of Odisha, noting that the party currently has 40 lakh members in the state and aims to double that number this year.

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi offered his congratulations, saying, “Heartiest greetings and congratulations to everyone on the foundation day of the world’s largest political party, the Bharatiya Janata Party. Thanks to the dedication of each member, worker, and leader, the party has evolved into a national movement. Let’s honor the determination and sacrifices of those who contributed to the party’s growth, and together, work towards building a developed India and Odisha.”

Prior to the celebrations at the party office, President Manmohan Samal raised the party flag at his residence in Bhubaneswar, accompanied by a few workers. Hundreds of party supporters gathered at the BJP headquarters, demonstrating their allegiance to the party and its leadership.

“Today marks the 45th foundation day of the BJP, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. There is immense enthusiasm among our karyakartas. Over the years, the party has faced numerous challenges, but now, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are in power for the third time, much like we were once under the great Atal Bihari Vajpayee,” said Manmohan Samal, the state unit president.

He further noted that the party is privileged to have received the mandate from the people of India to serve for a third term at the national level and for the first time in Odisha.

Samal emphasized that the BJP now represents every section of society. “From Kashmir to Kanyakumari, from Dibrugarh to Gujarat, the party’s presence is felt across the nation. We are committed to the hopes and aspirations of the people. In Odisha as well, the people have entrusted us with their support. We are dedicated to building a Viksit Odisha and contributing to the vision of a Viksit Bharat. We will work tirelessly to make this dream a reality,” he said.

Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo and his wife, MP Sangita Singh Deo, also marked the party foundation day at their residence in Bolangir, joined by local leaders and workers. Local MLAs attended the event, underscoring the party’s unity and strength across the country.
