VIRAL VIDEO: Astronomer CEO Andy Byron caught with his firm’s HR head, Kristin Cabot, at Coldplay concert
A seemingly innocent kiss cam moment at a Coldplay concert in Massachusetts has turned into a full-blown viral spectacle — and possibly a corporate HR disaster.
During the band’s performance at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough earlier this week, the camera panned across the audience and landed on a man and woman appearing close. Instead of sharing a kiss, the couple looked stunned, physically recoiled, and attempted to hide — she covered her face, while he ducked out of view, drawing a puzzled yet cheeky remark from frontman Chris Martin:
“Oh what… either they’re having an affair or they’re very shy.”
Social media didn’t buy the “shy” explanation. Within hours, online users identified the duo as Andy Byron, the married CEO of Astronomer, a software company based in Cincinnati, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s Chief People Officer.
Their exact relationship status remains unconfirmed, but speculation exploded across platforms, especially after clips of their reaction began racking up millions of views. Terms like “Busted!”, “#ZeroSympathy,” and “HR nightmare” began trending in threads about the incident.

According to Astronomer’s own November 2024 press release, Byron welcomed Cabot to the team, praising her expertise in talent management and employee engagement. Cabot responded with enthusiasm about the company’s “rapid trajectory” and her conversations with Byron.
In light of the kiss-cam moment, that professional rapport is being heavily reexamined through the lens of alleged personal involvement.
Fallout & Confusion
A statement allegedly issued by Byron surfaced online on Thursday, in which he apologized to his family and colleagues. However, a company spokesperson reportedly told TMZ the statement was fake — adding to the confusion and online speculation.
Whether it was a moment of personal embarrassment, an unintentional public reveal, or just a painfully shy pair caught at the wrong time, the Coldplay kiss-cam clip has become an unofficial meme of summer 2025 — with possible implications beyond social media virality.
