The Uttarkashi cloudburst caused flash floods in Dharali, a village well-known for its hotels, homestays, and restaurants catering to pilgrims and tourists heading to Gangotri. Several homes and buildings were reportedly swept away by the sudden deluge.

In response, an Army team from Harsil was immediately dispatched to assist local authorities with search, rescue, and relief operations.
