BJP National President and Union Minister J.P. Nadda paid tribute to Ahilya Bai Holkar on her 300th birth anniversary, calling her a symbol of religious devotion, cultural preservation, and social reform. He also questioned why such a remarkable figure had been sidelined in history, stating, “It is important to reflect on who buried Ahilya Bai Holkar in the pages of history.”
Drawing a parallel to the present, Nadda praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ongoing efforts to empower women, citing various central government schemes that continue the legacy of reform and upliftment championed by Ahilya Bai Holkar.
The event honored the enduring impact of Holkar’s work and emphasized the importance of remembering and celebrating India’s unsung heroes.
