CM Mohan Majhi, LoP Naveen Patnaik, and several other leaders condole loss of former Union Minister Debendra Pradhan

Bhubaneswar: Former Union Minister Debendra Pradhan’s death was mourned by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, LoP Naveen Patnaik, and several other political leaders. Union Minister Devendra Pradhan is the father of Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The Chief Minister of Odisha, Mohan Charan Majhi, condoled the loss and tweeted on his official X handle in Odia, which nearly translates as, “I am profoundly saddened to learn about the death of former Union Minister Devendra Pradhan. The late Pradhan was a well-liked public figure and a capable lawmaker.”

He added, “As the State BJP President, the late Pradhan made a tremendous contribution to the development of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Odisha via strong leadership. He devoted his entire life to the growth of the state, with a sense of dedication and commitment. With the death of this seasoned figure, the country and state have lost a distinguished public servant. His contributions to the well-being of the people and the advancement of the state will be remembered forever.”

“My heartfelt condolences to his son, Union Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, and their entire family. May God grant them the strength to face this dreadful loss. “I pray for his soul’s peace in the afterlife,” the CM wrote in conclusion.

The Leader of the Opposition, Naveen Patnaik, also offered his condolences on the demise of former Minister Debendra Pradhan.
