India Reports 5,874 New Coronavirus Cases In 24 Hours

New Delhi: India reports 5,874 new Coronavirus cases and 8,148 recoveries in last 24 hrs. The active caseload is presently 49,015. According to Ministry of Health and Family Affairs records, 16 additional fatalities were registered during this time period, while nine deaths were reconciled.

According to the data, 117 adults received their first round of vaccine, while 57 received their second dosage. In the last 24 hours, 2,498 precaution dosages were delivered.

The daily positivity rate is 3.31%, and the weekly positivity rate is 4.25 percent. In India, 7,171 additional cases were reported in 24 hours on Saturday. On Saturday, there were 51,314 cases open.

The death toll rose to 5,31,508 with 40 deaths, including 15 confirmed by Kerala, according to data updated at 8 a.m. The total number of Covid cases was 4.49 crore. According to the health ministry website, active cases now account for 0.11 percent of total infections, with the national Covid-19 recovery rate standing at 98.70%.

The number of persons who have recovered from the sickness has risen to 4,43,56,693, with a case fatality rate of 1.18 percent. So far, 220.66 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country, according to the ministry’s website. Cases have been steadily declining in recent days. On April 26, India documented its most recent spike, with 9,629 new Covid-19 cases.
