NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: The Odisha voter list revision 2026 schedule has been revised by the Election Commission of India (ECI), extending the timeline for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR)-2026 of electoral rolls. According to the updated programme issued through the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Odisha, the publication of the final electoral roll has been postponed to September 21, 2026.
The revised schedule is intended to provide additional time for completing the electoral roll revision process and ensuring greater accuracy before the final list is published.
Odisha Voter List Revision 2026 Gets New Timeline
Under the revised programme, the final electoral roll, originally scheduled for publication on September 6, will now be released on September 21, 2026.
The extension forms part of the Election Commission’s ongoing Special Intensive Revision exercise, which is carried out to update electoral rolls by adding eligible voters, removing ineligible entries and correcting existing records.
